Swifts, Whitethroat, Wren

Not too much around today but a nice sunny morning to enjoy.  A few Swifts were hawking over the nature reserve and road, so I tried my hand once more at photographing some in flight, with mixed results.  Below are the best of the bunch.  Nearby, a Wren sat on top of a dead branch and sang its heart out just a few yards away, with the wind ruffling its feathers.

There wasn't much to see from the hide, so I carried on down to Shaw Moss, where the only thing of note was a singing male Whitethroat in a Sallow by the Bramble patch near the gate.
