Bullfinch, Siskin, Fox
Very dull and overcast again this morning. A male Bullfinch was feeding on buds by the path and a little further over the stream, a small group of Siskins, maybe 4 or 5 were feeding in the alders.
There was little else to report after that, but as I reached the Bib Knowl area, I noticed a shape in the field not too far beyond the wall. It was a fox, and appeared to be stationary in the grass, but was facing the other way. I moved along to try to get a better position, and eventually it looked around, allowing for some photos.
After a few minutes it moved off but was limping heavily. The subsequent photos seem to show something of a glazed expression in the eyes, and I'm thinking it was perhaps rather unwell.
