Not much to report today, but a single Snipe was visible to the right of the hide, and a different Harlequin Ladybird was on the Mugwort by the track on the southern side.
Later on in the garden I noticed a long thin parasitic wasp with a really long ovipositor. Unfortunately it didn't perform well and soon moved off, but it appears to be Gasteruption jaculator, or a related species. Also in the garden nearby a Zebra Jumping Spider (Salticus scenicus) was on the fence, albeit difficult to photograph in the bright sunlight.
