Goosanders, Redwings, Oystercatcher
Quite breezy, 3°C, cloudy with occasional sun. Not much to report today apart from the usual species. In the morning, several Lapwings were resting on the flat stones near the straight wall, a Pied Wagtail popped up on a post near the outflow, and a couple of Song Thrushes were singing, though not in ideal photography positions. The lunchtime trip had a little more sunshine, and a few Goosander showed reasonably closely. In Pavilion wood, a few Redwings were flying up from trackside trees, and one perched in the sunshine for a while, albeit right at the top of a very tall tree, so I was looking almost directly upwards towards it. As I reached the road, an Oystercatcher flew and landed almost out of sight in the field opposite the gate.
