Pinkfeet overhead during a significant movement in Rochdale
This morning Alan reported c.280 Pinkfeet over his house at 0836 and then a further 1000 over Clegg Pools at 11:30. Dave Winnard had 150 over his garden at 9am.
I was walking anticlockwise round the lake at around 11:40 when I heard the unmistakeable calls of Pinkfeet. I struggled to locate them as they seemed to get closer, then they appeared low over the houses just past the Beach Hotel, catching me somewhat by surprise. The attached video is all I got, and I've slowed down the video but kept the audio as-is, just to give a sense of the moment.
