Ruddy Shelduck, leucistic Woodpigeon, Pheasants

Called in at the Rowing Club car park this morning to scan the water.  The sun was bright in my eyes but was surprised to see a Ruddy Shelduck with the Canadas at the feeding point.  It was calling all the time, a quiet honking, and I was just getting my camera ready when it took off at around 08:00 and flew in the direction of Clegg Hall, not to be  seen again.

A walk around produced not a great deal of interest, but the leucistic Woodpigeon was feeding in the field behind the hide, and a couple of male Pheasants performed over the Bib Knowl Dam wall.
