1 November 2022 - Hollingworth Lake

Walked around this morning in heavy rain, with very little to show for my efforts.  I sheltered for a little while in the hide, and after a few minutes, a party of three Wigeon flew around and eventually landed on the reserve pool.  They stayed around for as long as I was able to stay, but the rain wouldn't let up and the light was especially dull.

However, there were two males in varying plumages and one female, so despite the weather they cheered things up nicely.
