1 January 2026 - Hollingworth Lake
Semi-resident Yellow-legged Gull on the water at Hollingworth Lake, plus a pair of Stonechat at Shaw Moss
Not a bad start to the year, with 39 species recorded. The best of which were the semi-resident Yellow-legged Gull which was present on the water, though rather distant; a pair of Stonechat at Shaw Moss, as well as Redwings, Bullfinch, 2 Coal Tits and a Nuthatch and a male Kestrel that I seem to have failed to record on eBird.
