Redwings, Goosander, Long-tailed Tits, Tree Sparrows
A couple of walks today revealed very little of note. Around 15 Redwings flew over Rakewood Road as I walked towards the reserve. In the SW corner a small group of Long-tailed Tits fed briefly by the path, but too quick for any pics. No sign of yesterday's Tufted Duck, and just a few Teal on the reserver. The water level is now rather high after the recent rain and melt water. Called in the hide briefly in the afternoon and a handful of Redwings were feeding in the bushy/reedy margins at the back of the reserve, but otherwise quiet. In the garden the pair of Tree Sparrows still present.
